Jessica Westgard Larson, MBA, RICP®

A native of (south) Fargo, North Dakota, Jessica graduated with a B.A. in Economics and German from Concordia College of Moorhead, Minnesota. During her time at Concordia, Jessica began working as a file clerk/administrative assistant for her father, Les Westgard, a Principal Life Agent. She earned her Life/Health License and Series 6 and 63 Registrations during her time employed with him. She then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota in 2004. In 2007 Jessica changed roles from employee to Agent and entered into a business succession agreement with her father, gradually taking over his client base as he eased into retirement.

In years since, Jessica has continued her education by obtaining her Series 7 and Series 65 registrations, as well as the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations. Jessica's focus out of her office in Fargo, North Dakota, is helping individuals, families and businesses with retirement planning. She has over 20 years of industry experience and is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Red River Valley Estate Planning Council, and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, whose state-board she currently serves.

In her free time, Jessica is the Director of Handbell Choirs at Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) and St. John Lutheran Church. She previously served Handbell Musicians of America as an At-Large Member of the organization's National Board. Jessica lives in Fargo with her husband, Dave, and daughter, Megan. Her family enjoys spending summer weekends with family and friends at their lake cabin on Turtle Lake (Clay/Becker Counties).
